Private Events at the Beebe Estate

The Beebe Estate is available for rental for a variety of occasions, including family events, parties, and meetings. The main floor of the historic house has been thoughtfully and attractively restored, preserving its charm and character. Additionally, the beautifully maintained garden provides an elegant and inviting setting, perfect for any type of gathering or celebration.

Touring the Estate

You’re welcome to tour the property via a private tour with a Beebe Estate trustee or on a Saturday when it is open for art shows. To request a tour, please use the contact form on this page.

Rental Fees

  • Private Functions (up to 5 hours) $ 375.00

  • Meetings (up to 2 hours) $ 75.00

  • Security & Damage Deposit (separate check) $ 50.00

Private function fees shall be discounted by 20% for Melrose Non-Profit Organizations.

Per Chapter 4 Sec. 15 of the Melrose City Ordinance: Prior to accepting a new rental agreement for the use of a City facility, the rental authority shall confirm with the Treasurer/Collector, or their designee, that the party is in good standing with respect to all local taxes, fees, assessments, betterments, or other municipal charges owed to the City.

FAQs

Is parking available?

Parking is available for the renter directly behind the Beebe Estate for set up and clean up. Guest parking is on the street. Parking is allowed behind the Beebe Estate on Sundays.

What equipment is included?

The following equipment is available as part of your rental:

  • 7 high top tables

  • 7 dining tables that each seat 6 people

  • 58 folding chairs

  • Mini-kitchen with mini-fridge, microwave oven, sink and counter space

Do you provide audio/visual equipment for rentals?

No, we are unable to provide any A/V equipment.

Is the Beebe Estate air conditioned?

We have two portable A/C units. We recommend turning them on in the morning prior to your event to cool the space.

Is there WiFi?

Yes.  Network and Password can be provided upon request.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Alcohol may be served if a permit is obtained from the City of Melrose and an insured TIPS certified bartender serves. Please click here for more information.
